Always fast and reasonable in cost. When you operate a business and vehicles are essential, these are the type of guys you want helping you out! There’s no guessing games, they are professionals and know their business. They send you your projected costs and pics and makes it so much easier to make a decision and to communicate your desires. Hate to have to spend money, but if I have to, these are the guys I want to do business with!

Reeder’s auto is an amazing locally owned auto service shop in Portage that will give you a straight and honest answer on what your car needs done to it to make it run and drive great! They provide their expert opinions on things that can wait until later or when you have the time/money to tune up your vehicle and they also tell you what you need to do to be safe right now. This really helps you not feel pressured to spend a ton of money repairing every little imperfection and instead focusing on what you’re comfortable with having completed today.

The service I received from Reeder’s was exceptional. Anthony was the man, I mean absolutely the best in taking care of my vehicle. He was very courteous and caring, and did everything to make sure I receive the very best service possible. Every time, when I need new tires, I do not care how far this place is from my home, Reeder’s would be my first choice. Thanks to the entire team for helping me, and especially my family. Reeder’s is the best in the area. Had my vehicle fail emissions and took it there for diagnostic testing. They got me in quick, quoted the work in a reasonable time, and had the work done within the week. They kept me up to date throughout the whole process. 10/10 will always go back. They really are the best around!

Had rear differential issues with out Traverse. Upon inspection, it was suggested to replace the rear diff. Yikes. Did so…however, problem remained (grinding and skittering when turning). A costly repair that didn’t solve the problem. Upon further diagnosis, there was something missed and on their own dime they took it upon themselves to fix it at no cost to me. Thanks for your honestly and great service!

My AC unit stopped working; when I called to schedule an appointment, they got me in the same day and the car was fixed just a couple hours later.

They were the best! Needed a repair from an accident on I 80 & our destination was 4 1/2 hr away. They contacted a rental car agency for us & had the repair finished in a timely manner. Their staff is wonderful. No wonder their parking lot was filled with many vehicles. A very satisified customer.

Always a good experience. Friendly, knowledgeable mechanics. Prices are typically for parts and labor. Wait times are usually longer due to the volume of customers. Plan on spending some time there or dropping off your vehicle. It’s worth the wait in my opinion. Great job

These guys are as thorough as it gets. I was traveling back to Ohio and broke down in the right spot. They were already very busy when they got my car but got it back to me in two days. They could have taken advantage of me being from out of state. Instead they took good care of me and my car runs great. Thanks for being the professionals you are.

Great customer service. They gave me a diagnostic & didn’t do my repair because they knew I needed tires first. In order to save me money they had me look for tires where they weren’t as expensive. Then the repairs they did do were perfect & didn’t charge me an arm & a leg.

They always get the job done and do it at a relatively nice price, I always reccomend them for car problems. My dad even loves them?

They are the best auto shop I’ve ever done business with. They have gone over and beyond regular service for a customer. Everyone there is very helpful and insightful and most important courteous. I have taken my vehicles there a few times, and I am always amazed at how good the work is and how reasonable the pricing is. I highly recommend REEDER’S. My wife and mother-in-law have been taking their cars there for over 10 years and they recommended me to do the same and I am not sorry to say I have never experienced such professionalism and fair pricing at any auto shop I have ever been to.

We are extremely grateful for the guys at Reeder’s that helped replace my sister’s car battery! We are on an out of town trip from Fort Wayne and we would have been stranded if it weren’t for their service. They were very kind, personable, quick, and thorough. Thanks again! You all are amazing!

Most trusted mechanic I ever dealt with.

Called before coming in, they set me up with an appointment right away, which no one else would (days between not weeks). Got me in, confirmed the diagnosis on the issue. Got the parts put on fast, and for the price told (cheaper than most)! All around wonderful service, experience, and visit. By the way, they offer rides back if you need to leave your vehicle, but I waited. The also have and offer beverages while you are waiting. TV, comfortable seating, and clean waiting room/restroom. GREAT PLACE, & GREAT bunch of gentlemen to deal with!

They were so great! Kept me updated and contacted my warranty company for me registering my transmission. They are amazing. I won’t go any where else. I believe they want what’s in your best interest and are honest. That is hard to find at most places.

Always a great place for car service! The service writers are kind and thoughtful people who take time to listen and understand a person’s auto problems. Plus, they are always reasonably priced; I have never gotten the feeling I was being gouged by them.

They will often do the minimum work–and charge fairly for that–instead of doing unnecessary extra repairs that a person often doesn’t need. How refreshing, right?

I’ve brought my van down to them for exhaust work and they fixed for $140 what others wanted $500 to do. So if you’re wanting a trustworthy place to bring your car for repairs, you cannot do better than Reeder’s on Central Ave. in Portage.

We had our minivan towed there on a Monday night, after hours, and they diagnosed the issue and replaced the alternator by Tuesday afternoon. They were very thorough, and excellent at communicating with us about what needed to be done before doing any work so that we knew the price first. And their price was very reasonable. I don’t feel we paid more there than anywhere else. Will definitely use them again.
