Would never think about taking my truck anywhere else!! I’ve had my truck at various places that were much more expensive and could not fix some of the problems my truck was having, readers took care of my truck to full satisfactory.

Normally good. The last time they had oil left all over my engine causIng it to smell bad in the cabin. Also a mess left under the hood. My wifes vehicle a day prior was left the same way. Unacceptable! May never be back! Also they used to vac amd clean windshield. Not any more!

They were the best! Needed a repair from an accident on I 80 & our destination was 4 1/2 hr away. They contacted a rental car agency for us & had the repair finished in a timely manner. Their staff is wonderful. No wonder their parking lot was filled with many vehicles. A very satisified customer.

During the initial inspection they found a number of issues. After talking with the mechanic who was actually doing the work, we decided to fix the main problem and see if that corrected the other issues. It did! I was updated regularly and couldn’t ask for better communication! Thank you for a job well done.

They helped me get back on the road quickly! I was on the road home stranded 2 and a half hours away, ended up getting a hotel and tow when my car wouldn’t start. They helped prioritize me understanding my desperate situation trying to get back home to work and college classes. My car was fully fixed with new negative cable and starter assembly in only 3 hours after they opened, on last minute notice 🙂 Labor was a little more than expected in price, but I am HAPPY to be on the road again. Good quality service.

Had rear differential issues with out Traverse. Upon inspection, it was suggested to replace the rear diff. Yikes. Did so…however, problem remained (grinding and skittering when turning). A costly repair that didn’t solve the problem. Upon further diagnosis, there was something missed and on their own dime they took it upon themselves to fix it at no cost to me. Thanks for your honestly and great service!

Would do business here again. Vehicle needed a list of wear/tear items replaced. Work was performed in under a day. Some parts were reduced price wise as they (Reeder’s) were able to attain them at a lower cost thus pushing the savings on to me. Honest people to do business with!

Always a great place for car service! The service writers are kind and thoughtful people who take time to listen and understand a person’s auto problems. Plus, they are always reasonably priced; I have never gotten the feeling I was being gouged by them.

They will often do the minimum work–and charge fairly for that–instead of doing unnecessary extra repairs that a person often doesn’t need. How refreshing, right?

I’ve brought my van down to them for exhaust work and they fixed for $140 what others wanted $500 to do. So if you’re wanting a trustworthy place to bring your car for repairs, you cannot do better than Reeder’s on Central Ave. in Portage.

My AC unit stopped working; when I called to schedule an appointment, they got me in the same day and the car was fixed just a couple hours later.

The price was extremely reasonable, the staff very polite and helpful.

This is the ONLY place I will bring my car. I recommend that you bring yours here as well

Reeder’s is the best in the area. Had my vehicle fail emissions and took it there for diagnostic testing. They got me in quick, quoted the work in a reasonable time, and had the work done within the week. They kept me up to date throughout the whole process. 10/10 will always go back. They really are the best around!

They are the best auto shop I’ve ever done business with. They have gone over and beyond regular service for a customer. Everyone there is very helpful and insightful and most important courteous. I have taken my vehicles there a few times, and I am always amazed at how good the work is and how reasonable the pricing is. I highly recommend REEDER’S. My wife and mother-in-law have been taking their cars there for over 10 years and they recommended me to do the same and I am not sorry to say I have never experienced such professionalism and fair pricing at any auto shop I have ever been to.

Always fast and reasonable in cost. When you operate a business and vehicles are essential, these are the type of guys you want helping you out! There’s no guessing games, they are professionals and know their business. They send you your projected costs and pics and makes it so much easier to make a decision and to communicate your desires. Hate to have to spend money, but if I have to, these are the guys I want to do business with!

Reeder’s auto is an amazing locally owned auto service shop in Portage that will give you a straight and honest answer on what your car needs done to it to make it run and drive great! They provide their expert opinions on things that can wait until later or when you have the time/money to tune up your vehicle and they also tell you what you need to do to be safe right now. This really helps you not feel pressured to spend a ton of money repairing every little imperfection and instead focusing on what you’re comfortable with having completed today.

My family & I have been using Reeders for many years. They are very attentive and have incredible customer service. They recently replaced my engine block and their team did a great job! I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for oil changes. You’ll get VIP treatment every time.

Superb service. Time for service was excellent. Worked on my A/C components..

Well, they are usually urgent and do a great job. So, I recommended my mom go there and get an oil change. They let me down and made me look bad. She went to get her oil changed, and they were in a hurry and did a sloppy job. They forgot to put the oil cap back on and oil was all over my mom’s new vehicle. So, I went today to see if they improved and had to wait longer than normal for a basic oil change, and I had blue fluid all over the side of my vehicle. If you’re gonna get fluid all over our vehicles, at least clean it up. Over $33 for an oil change, that’s the least you guys can do. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Take your time, do it right, and clean up the mess your workers leave behind on customers vehicles. You guys use to be my favorite, sad.
